An email for every response
On the survey’s Settings tab, tick Email digest on each new response. Each time someone submits the survey, your account’s webmaster email address receives an email so you can react quickly — for example to an unhappy customer.
Turn it off again for busy surveys if the emails become too many; the responses are always in Results.
Growing your mailing list
If you use Broadcaster (our mailing-list app), a survey can invite respondents to join one of your lists:
- On the Settings tab, choose a Mailing list.
- Make sure the survey asks for an email (Identity set to Email optional or Email required).
- Save.
Respondents then see a tick box to join your list. Only people who tick it are added — nobody is subscribed without agreeing. If something goes wrong adding them to the list, their survey answers are still saved.
