All your surveys are listed under Surveys in your admin area, with their status and how many responses each has received.
Three ways to start
- Create Survey — a blank survey.
- New from template — a ready-made survey you can adjust:
- NPS scorecard — “How likely are you to recommend us?” (0–10) plus an optional comment.
- Customer satisfaction — a satisfaction rating with a short follow-up comment.
- Event feedback — an overall rating, what went well, and what to improve.
- Duplicate — copies one of your surveys and its questions as a new draft. Responses are never copied.
Adding questions
Open the survey and go to the Questions tab.
- Click Add question, type the question, and choose its type.
- Tick Required if it must be answered.
- For choice questions, click + Add option for each answer.
- Use the arrows to move a question up or down, and the bin to remove it.
| Question type | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Single choice | Pick one answer from a list |
| Multiple choice | Tick every answer that applies |
| Dropdown | Pick one answer from a compact list |
| Yes / No | A simple yes or no |
| Rating | A score on a scale you choose (from 2 up to 10) |
| NPS | “How likely are you to recommend…” on a 0–10 scale; feeds your Net Promoter Score |
| Short text / Long text | Free-text answers |
| Date | A date |
| Ranking | Put the options in order of preference |
One question at a time
To show respondents one question at a time instead of the whole survey at once, set Layout to One question per screen on the Settings tab.
Saving
Click Save. A new survey starts as a Draft, so nobody can fill it in until you open it — see Survey settings: opening, closing and limits.
Changing questions after responses arrive
Once a survey has received responses, it’s best not to change its questions. If you need different questions, Duplicate the survey and edit the copy instead.
