Why this matters
Almotawif.com lists Ramadan Umra Packages for shoppers (home Ramadan tab, /ramadan-umra-packages, and the Ramadan filter on Umra listings). A package appears there when either of these is true:
- Any upcoming departure’s trip dates overlap the next (or current) Ramadan month, or
- The package is assigned to a category whose title contains the word Ramadan (same account).
Using both is best: accurate dates catch calendar-true trips; a Ramadan category makes the package easy to find even outside the next Ramadan window.
1. Set departure and arrival dates accurately
- Open Packages > Umra and edit the package.
- On the Departures tab, enter the real departure and arrival (return) dates for each upcoming trip.
- If arrival is blank, the marketplace treats the trip as a single day on the departure date — still prefer filling both.
- Keep only bookable upcoming departures current; past dates do not count for Ramadan matching.
A package qualifies on dates when any upcoming trip window overlaps any day of the next or in-progress Ramadan.
2. Use a category with “Ramadan” in the title
- Open Categories > Umra (or create one).
- Create or reuse a category whose title includes Ramadan (for example Ramadan Umra 2027). Spelling can vary; the word “Ramadan” must appear.
- On the package, assign that category under category assignments.
Category tagging is enough for Ramadan listings even if the trip falls outside the next Ramadan month — useful for early marketing.
Quick checklist
- Upcoming departure/arrival dates match the real trip
- Package is an Umra package (tours are not included in Ramadan Packages)
- Optional but recommended: category title contains “Ramadan”
- Package is active / not hidden so it can appear on the marketplace
After you save dates or categories, almotawif.com picks up the change on the next listing load — there is no separate “Ramadan” flag to maintain.
