Almotawif comes with a shared list of hotels in Makkah, Madinah and other destinations, with names, star ratings, photos and descriptions. You don't need to type hotel details yourself: you pick hotels from this list when you build packages, set hotel rates or choose your preferred hotels.
How to get there
There is no separate Hotels screen in your Almotawif menu, because the hotel list is maintained for you. You work with hotels in these places:

Add a hotel to a package
- Open the package and go to the Accommodation tab.
- Click Add Accommodation and keep Specific hotel(s) selected.
- Start typing the hotel name. Matches from the hotel list appear under Your hotels, and matches from Google appear under Google results.
- Click the hotel you want. If you pick a Google result that isn't in the hotel list yet, it's added automatically so you can use it again later.
If the hotel isn't decided yet, choose Star level only instead, and travelers will see something like "4-star hotel in Makkah".
Preferred hotels
- Open Settings from your account menu, then click Almotawif in the list of applications.
- Go to the Preferred Hotels tab.
- Type a hotel name and click it in the suggestions to add it to the list.
- Click Save Changes. Use the trash icon to remove a hotel from the list.
Hotels on your website
Package pages show the hotels you chose for each stay. If your website has a hotels page, it lists the hotels used in your packages together with your preferred hotels, grouped by city. Only hotels that have photos appear on that page.
Tips
- Pick hotels from the list rather than creating near-duplicates, so photos and details stay consistent.
- If a hotel's photos, description or star rating look wrong or are missing, contact support and we'll update the shared hotel list.
