Storefront3000 Storefront3000 Help

Look up your shoppers in Storefront3000: how clients are added, searching the list, editing contact details, setting a password, and managing their addresses and orders.

Clients is the list of people who shop with you. Use it to look someone up, correct their details, help them sign in, and see what they've ordered.

How to get there

Open Storefront3000 and click Clients in the menu.

How clients are added

  • At checkout: the first time someone orders with a new email address, a client is created for them with the name, phone and address from the order. Later orders with the same email go to the same client.
  • By signing up: shoppers can create an account on your website.
  • By you: click Create a New Client. You also pick or add the client when you create an order yourself.

The client list

  • Use Show Active / Inactive Clients to switch between active and inactive clients.
  • Type in the search box to filter by name, company, email or ID.
  • Click ID, First Name or Last Name to sort.
  • Click Edit to open a client, or Delete to remove one. Tick several rows to use Delete Selected.

The client page

TabWhat you can do
MainEdit first name, last name, telephone and email. Tick Reset Password to type and confirm a new password for the client, then click Save.

Tips

  • Clients created at checkout don't have a password yet. They can set one with the forgot-password link on your website's sign-in page, or you can set one for them with Reset Password.
  • Addresses a client saves in their own account on your website show on the Addresses tab, and the ones you add here show in their account. See Your customers' client portal.
  • To work on a specific order, open it from Orders. See Orders.
