Student logins for online lessons

Educatify Educatify Help

Give each student their own login for programs that have lessons, and resend the password invitation.

Every student registered in a program that has lessons gets their own login. The person who pays and the person who studies can be different people. A parent who registers two children gets three logins: one for themselves and one for each child.

How students get a login

  1. On the registration form, enter each student's email. If someone is registering themselves, they can select This is me to use their own name and email.
  2. As soon as the registration is confirmed (paid online, or confirmed by your staff), Educatify creates the student's login and emails a link to set a password. The link is valid for 3 days.
  3. The student signs in and opens My learning to see the programs they are registered in.

If that email already has a login on your website, that login is used and no new password is needed. Programs without lessons do not create student logins.

Add or change an email

On the client page, open the Students tab. The Online lessons login column shows No login, Invited (password not set yet) or Active. When you create a registration in the wizard, enter each student's email, or select This is the client when the client is the student.

Changing a student's email disconnects their current login. Send a new invite so they get a login for the new email.

Resend an invite

Select Send invite on the registration page under Online lessons logins, or Send login invite on the client's Students tab. The student receives a fresh link to set a password, or a link to sign in if they already set one.

Students see only their own programs. They cannot see the client's other students, registrations or payments. A client who is also a student sees both their client pages and My learning.

The invitation uses the Online lessons login email template, which you can edit with your other templates.
