Educatify Educatify Help

Collect and moderate student reviews: send review invitations, approve, edit or reject reviews in the Pending, Approved and Rejected queues, and control where approved reviews appear on your website.

Reviews let students rate a program from 1 to 5 stars and leave a comment. Nothing appears on your website until you approve it, so you stay in control of what the public sees.

How to get there

Open Educatify → Clients → Reviews.

How reviews come in

  1. A student receives a review invitation email with a personal link. The email goes to the client's address.
  2. They open the link, pick a star rating, write a comment (up to 2,000 characters), and can ask for their name not to be shown.
  3. The review arrives in the Pending queue for you to approve.

To send invitations, open Registrations, tick the students and click Send Review Invite. Automatic invitations (in Catalog Setup → Settings → Course Reviews) are not switched on across our platform yet, so send them by hand for now or contact us.

The review queues

The tabs Pending, Approved and Rejected show how many reviews each holds. Each review card shows the student's name, the program, the stars, the date and the comment. An Anon badge means the student asked to be shown anonymously.

  • Search testimonials finds reviews by reviewer name or comment across all three queues.
  • Course narrows the list to one program. Type at least three characters of its title or code, pick it, and click Apply.

Moderate a review

ActionWhat happens
ApproveShows you the text that will be published. Confirm to make it public.
EditChange the rating or comment, for example to remove personal details. The student's original text is kept and shown under the review. Click Save Changes, or Save & Approve to publish at the same time.
RejectKeeps the review off your website. You can add an internal reason; the student does not see it.

You can approve a review you rejected earlier, or reject one you approved, from its card.

Where reviews appear

  • Approved reviews show on program pages when Display reviews on course pages is ticked in Catalog Setup → Settings → Course Reviews. The same section sets how many show per page.
  • To turn reviews off for one program, tick Disable reviews for this course on the program's Reviews tab. That tab also lists the program's reviews.
