Use this when you are moving lessons from Moodle into Educatify Online Learning. This is separate from enrolling new registrations into a Moodle site you still use. See Connect registrations to Moodle for that.
Before you start
- Turn on Online Learning for the account.
- Under Integrations → Moodle, save your Moodle site address and web-service token. You do not need registration sync for an import.
- Ask your Moodle administrator to let that token read course contents, enrolled users and files.
Import a program
- Open the Educatify program and select Moodle import.
- Search and select the Moodle course.
- Run Preview dry run. Review created, updated and skipped items. Unsupported activities are listed.
- Optionally attach a Moodle question-bank XML export, and turn on learner import. For learners, choose the client who owns the imported students. That must be a client of this account, not a staff login.
- Choose Apply import. Running the same Moodle course again updates existing modules and lessons instead of duplicating them. Questions from the same XML file that were already imported are kept. If the import stops part way, the message says how many items were applied. Run it again to finish.

Learners
Only Moodle users with an active student enrolment are imported. Teachers and managers are listed as skipped. Passwords never transfer. Imported learners receive a set-password invitation. Past Moodle completions are recorded with their Moodle completion date so transcripts stay accurate. No completion email is sent for those past completions. Learners see content only when their registration is Confirmed.
