Connect registrations to Moodle

Educatify Educatify Help

Connect your Moodle site so confirmed Educatify registrations enrol students and cancellations suspend access.

Use Educatify for registrations and payments while your school keeps lessons in Moodle. Confirmed students are enrolled in the matching Moodle course. Cancelling or archiving a registration suspends that access and keeps their grades. Confirming again restores access. Payment does not depend on Moodle being available.

Connect Moodle

Ask your Moodle administrator to enable REST web services, give you a dedicated token that can manage users, courses and manual enrolment, and enable manual enrolment on the courses you will use.

  1. Open Integrations → Moodle.
  2. Enter your site address (it must start with https://) and the token.
  3. Confirm the Student role ID and save.
  4. Click Test connection. It shows your Moodle site's name and release, and lists any missing service functions.

When you edit the connection later, leave the token blank to keep the saved one.

Map a program

On each program's details page, search for its Moodle course and save the mapping. Enter an email for every student. A registration with one student can use the client's email. A booking with several students needs each student's own email.

After sync is turned on for your account, confirmed registrations enrol students automatically. Students who already have a Moodle account keep it. New students receive Moodle's login email. Ask Net3000 to enable sync after the connection test succeeds.

Check a registration

Open Moodle sync on the registration details to see each student's status. Needs email means you should add the student's email. Failed means sync will retry; Retry queues an earlier attempt after you correct the connection. The dashboard links to registrations with sync issues.
