A student can earn a certificate of completion in three ways. Each completion gets a unique certificate number. The student and the paying client receive a completion email with a link to view the certificate. Use the browser's Print, then Save as PDF, to download it. Anyone with the verification link can confirm the certificate. That public page shows only the student's name, the program title and the completion date.
How a program is completed
- Mark complete. On the session attendance report, mark one student complete, or mark everyone at once. This works for classroom programs even if Online Learning is off.
- Attendance threshold. On the program Details tab, set Auto-complete at attendance % (for example 80). When a student's attendance reaches that percentage, the certificate is issued automatically. This also works without Online Learning.
- Online lessons. With Online Learning on, a student who finishes every lesson, passes any quiz marked must-pass, and passes any assignment marked must-pass for course completion is completed automatically.
Continuing-education credits
On the program Details tab you can set a credit value and a unit (CEU, PDH or hours). That value is printed on the certificate and appears on the learner's transcript under My learning (View transcript / Save as PDF).
Branding
Under Settings → Certificates, set an optional logo address for the certificate. To change the certificate or transcript wording, edit the certificate and transcript templates, or ask Net3000 to adjust the shared wording.
