An employer profile is a company on your job board. Every job posting belongs to an employer, so add the company here before you create its postings. Employers can also register themselves on your website.
How to get there
Open Careerly → Employer Profiles.
The list
The list shows each company's ID, Company Name, Industry, City, Contact Person, and whether it is Verified and Active. Search by company name, city or contact. Use the pencil button to open a profile and the bin button to delete it.
Add an employer
- Click Create New.
- Enter the Company Name (required) and upload a Logo if you have one.
- Fill in the company details below.
- Leave Active ticked so the company can appear on your board.
- Click Save, then create the company's jobs under Job Postings.
Profile fields
| Field | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Logo | JPG, PNG, SVG, WebP or TIFF, up to 2.5 MB. You can remove it and upload a new one at any time. The logo is also used as the picture when one of the company's jobs is shared, if the job has no image of its own. |
| Company Name, Company Description | How the company appears to job seekers. |
| Address, City, Province, Country, Postal Code | Where the company is. |
| Website URL, LinkedIn URL | Links to the company online. |
| Industry | Chosen from your Industries list. |
| Contact Person Name, Contact Person Title | Your contact at the company. |
| Company Size, Founded Year | Company size is free text, for example 1-10 or 51-200. |
| Verified | Tick it once you've checked the company is genuine. The public employer page can show a Verified badge. |
| Active | Untick it to hide the company's public page without deleting anything. |
Once a profile is saved, the page also shows embed code for putting the company's page, with its live jobs, on any website, either inline or in an iframe.
Employers who register themselves
When an employer registers on your website, their profile is created here automatically. It is Active straight away and not Verified; there is no approval step. Check new employers in Recent Activity on the Careerly home page, tick Verified for the ones you've checked, and untick Active for any you don't want on your board.
Employers can't post jobs from your website, so create postings for them under Job Postings. Employers can manage their company details and review applicants in their own client portal. You can still help by editing the profile here. See Your customers' client portal.
Tips
- Prefer unticking Active over deleting. The company and its postings stay on record.
- Deleting removes the company from the normal admin list and public website.
