How job alerts work
From Job Alerts in their account, a job seeker creates an alert with any of: keywords, category, location, job type, work arrangement and minimum salary. They choose to be emailed daily or weekly.
Once you have enabled and verified alert digests, new matching Active jobs trigger one email listing the jobs, each linking straight to the job page on your website. If nothing new matches, no email is sent.
Managing alerts
- Edit changes what the alert looks for.
- Pause stops the emails without losing the alert; Resume turns them back on.
- Delete removes it. A job seeker can keep up to 10 alerts.
- The page also lists new jobs from the last week that match any of their alerts.
Unsubscribing
Every alert email has an Unsubscribe from this alert link. It asks the reader to confirm, then switches that alert off. They can turn it back on from their account.
For you
The emails come from your account and carry your company name. The more Active jobs you publish, the more reasons your job seekers have to come back.
