How to Get reCAPTCHA Keys

General Connecting Your Application

Register a site in Google reCAPTCHA and connect the site and secret keys in Net3000.

Use this guide to create the Google reCAPTCHA site key and secret key and connect them in Net3000.

  1. Open the Google reCAPTCHA Admin Console

Go to the Google reCAPTCHA Admin Console and log in with your Google account.

  2. Create a new site

Click the + button, or Create if you do not have any sites yet, to register a new site.

  3. Fill in the registration form
    • Label: Enter a name for the site, such as the production website name.
    • reCAPTCHA type: Choose reCAPTCHA v2 ("I'm not a robot" Checkbox) or reCAPTCHA v3 for background scoring.
    • Domains: Add the domains where reCAPTCHA will run. Add localhost if you need local testing.
  4. Accept terms and submit

Accept the reCAPTCHA Terms of Service, then click Submit.

  5. Copy both keys
    • Site Key: the public key used by browser-side code.
    • Secret Key: the private key used for server-side verification.

Keep the secret key secure and never expose it in client-side code.

  6. Paste into Net3000

In Net3000 admin, open Integrations → reCAPTCHA (/apis/recaptcha), paste the Site Key and Secret Key, then click Save.
