How to Get Clover API Keys

General Connecting Your Application

Find Clover public and secret keys for sandbox and production, then paste them into the Live and Test tabs in Net3000.

Use this guide to find the Clover credentials used by the Clover integration and connect them in Net3000. You can save production and sandbox keys at the same time.

  1. Log in to the Clover Developer Dashboard

Go to the Clover Developer Dashboard and log in with your Clover account credentials.

  2. Open your app

Select the app from the dashboard. If you do not have an app yet, click Create App and complete the setup flow first.

  3. Open API keys or credentials

In the app settings, find API Keys or Credentials. If you cannot locate it, check Settings or Configuration, or search for API Keys.

  4. Copy Public Key and App Secret

Copy your Public Key and App Secret (secret key). Keep the App Secret confidential. Repeat for both Sandbox and Production if you use both environments.

  5. Use the correct environment

Confirm whether you are viewing Sandbox or Production credentials. Do not paste sandbox secrets into the Live tab (or production secrets into Test).

  6. Paste into Net3000

In Net3000 admin, open Integrations → Clover (/apis/clover). Use the Live Keys and Test Keys tabs:

    • Live Keys — production Public Key and Secret Key
    • Test Keys — sandbox Public Key and Secret Key

Leave a Secret Key field blank on edit to keep the existing value. Click Save. Staging / testMode uses the Test tab; production uses Live.
