Enable customers to pay using their PayPal balance, linked bank account, or PayPal credit on your Net3000 checkout pages. You can save live and sandbox credentials at the same time.
Where to configure
In Net3000 admin, open Integrations → PayPal (/apis/paypal). Use the Live Keys and Test Keys tabs.
-
Get live API Username and Password
Log in to your PayPal Business account. Open account security / API access settings and request or view NVP/SOAP API credentials (classic API Username and Password). Copy them carefully. Also note the PayPal Business Email that should receive payments.
Net3000’s PayPal screen uses classic Username / Password / Email — not the newer REST Client ID / Secret from Apps & Credentials (unless your account team has upgraded that gateway).
-
Get sandbox credentials
In the PayPal Developer Dashboard, open Sandbox → Accounts, select a Business sandbox account, then view or create its API credentials. Copy sandbox Username, Password, and business Email.
-
Paste into Live and Test tabs
On
/apis/paypal:- Live Keys — live Username, Password, and Email
- Test Keys — sandbox Username, Password, and Email
Leave a Password field blank on edit to keep the existing value. Click Save.
-
Verify
Run a sandbox payment while testMode / staging is active (uses the Test tab). Production checkouts use Live. If Test credentials are missing while testMode is on, PayPal will not fall back to Live secrets.
