Connect iContact

Connect iContact so newsletter signups on your website are added to your iContact list automatically.

1. Open iContact Integrations

   Log in to iContact. Open the Account menu (top right) → Settings and Billing → iContact Integrations (sometimes labeled iContact API).

2. Create or open your Custom API Integration

   Under Custom API Integrations, register an application (name and description), then click Get AppId. Enable the AppId for your account when prompted.

   Copy these values for Net3000:

   • API Key in Net3000 = Application ID (API-AppId)
   • Username = your iContact login email / username
   • Password = the API application password you set for this integration — not your normal iContact login password
   • Version = usually 2.2 (also accepts 2.0 / 2.1)

3. Find Account ID and Client Folder ID

   On the same Integrations area, open View Details for your integration, or open the External Login page at app.icontact.com/icp/core/externallogin. Copy Account ID and Client Folder ID exactly as shown (they can look similar; paste each into the matching Net3000 field).

   If you already use the integration and forgot the API password, use View Details → Regenerate Password, then update Net3000 immediately (the old password stops working).

4. Connect in Net3000

   Open /apis/icontact, paste Username, Password, API Key (AppId), Account ID, Client Folder ID, and Version, then click Save. Leave Password / API Key blank on later edits to keep existing secrets.

5. Select your list

   Choose your default Audience / Subscriber List so website newsletter forms add contacts automatically.
