Chauffeur credential and vehicle maintenance reminders

Keep your chauffeurs' paperwork and your vehicles' servicing in Limo Man, and get a reminder email before something runs out.

Chauffeur credentials

1. Open Limo Man → Application Setup → Drivers and open a chauffeur. Save a new chauffeur first; the Credentials card appears after that.
2. Add each credential: Type (for example a chauffeur licence or permit), Number, Issued and Expires dates, a Document link and Notes.
3. Click Save credential.

Credentials that expire soon are shown in amber. Expired ones are red, with an Expired badge.

Vehicle maintenance

1. Open Limo Man → Application Setup → Vehicles and open a vehicle.
2. Keep Current reading (the odometer) up to date.
3. In Maintenance, log each service: the Service, when it was Performed, the Odometer, the Cost and Notes. Add a Next due date and/or Next due odometer.
4. Click Save service.

A service is shown as due once the date is close or the current reading reaches the next-due odometer.

Reminder emails

In Limo Man → Settings → Fleet compliance, set Warn me ahead by to the number of days' notice you want. Set it to 0 to get no reminders.

Once a day, Limo Man sends one email listing everything that expires or falls due within that window. It goes to your notification email addresses. Each item is reported once. When you renew a credential or update a due date, the reminder resets for the new date.

The daily reminder job is switched on by us. If you've set it up and no emails arrive, contact us.
