Simply CMS Simply CMS Help

How to use Your Pages in Simply CMS: page status (Hidden, Public, Unlisted), publish dates, Membership Plan restrictions, and the Social Media and Embed tabs.

What you can do here

Create and edit custom pages for your website, including publish dates, SEO, categories, and optional Membership Plan restrictions.

How to get there

Open the admin menu: Pages > Your Pages

Page status

Each page has a Status:

StatusWhat it means
HiddenThe page is not shown to the public. Use it for pages you're still working on or want to hide for a while.
PublicThe page is visible to everyone and can appear in category lists, sitemaps, search results and navigation.
UnlistedOnly people who have the direct link can view the page. It won't appear in sitemaps, category lists or search results.

Leave Publish Date empty to publish immediately, or set a future date to schedule the page.

Membership Restrictions

On the page editor, open Membership Restrictions and select the Membership Plans that may view this page. Empty selection means the page is public. Restricted pages require an Active entitled membership on one of the selected plans. Details: Membership Restrictions for Pages, Categories, and Videos.

Social Media tab

Use the Social Media tab to share the page on your connected Facebook and LinkedIn accounts, now or at a time you choose. See Schedule social posts from your pages.

Embed tab

Use the Embed tab to copy a code that shows the page on another website, such as a WordPress or Wix site. See Show your Simply CMS content on another website.
