You can show a Simply CMS page, category or banner on a website we don't host, such as a WordPress blog, a Wix site or a partner's site. Edit it once in Simply CMS and every site that shows it updates.
Get the code
- Open the page, category or banner.
- Go to the Embed tab.
- Choose one of the two options:
Option Best when Embed via iframe You can paste an HTML block but can't add scripts, for example WordPress blocks, Wix embed areas or page builders. The snippet is self-contained. Inline embed You can add script tags. The content becomes part of the other page and uses its fonts and styles. - Click the copy button next to the code.
Paste it
Paste the code where the content should appear, using the host site's "Custom HTML" or "Embed code" block.
With Embed via iframe:
- The box grows and shrinks to fit the content, so you don't get a scrollbar inside it.
- You can put several embeds on the same page.
- The code includes your account's public embed token. It is meant for showing public content on public web pages.
Good to know
- Only display items can be embedded this way: pages, categories and banners. Forms and review widgets stay on your Net3000 site for now.
- Embed only content you're happy for anyone to see. Keep members-only pages on your Net3000 site rather than embedding them elsewhere.
- If the iframe option says your embed token isn't available yet, reload the page.
