We've improved how accommodations are set on packages in Almotawif.
Instead of typing free-text hotel names — which often led to made-up names like "Hilton or Movenpick" — operators can now:
- Select one or more real hotels from search
- Choose a star level only when a specific hotel hasn't been decided yet (for example, "4-star hotel in Makkah")
- Optionally add "…or a similar hotel" so travelers know the listed hotel is an example of the quality provided
This keeps package data accurate, makes it possible to link to real hotel details and show hotel images on the package detail view, and displays cleanly for travelers and in admin.
We're also reaching out to individual accounts to help clean up and reformat existing package hotel data.
