Membership Plans and events
Event Management uses your account’s Membership Plans so Active members can get member ticket rates or access member-only tickets. Plans are created under admin Membership Plans; each plan can grant Event Management and optional Adults/Children coverage via the gear icon.
How ticket rates work per plan
- Create (or edit) a Membership Plan and check Event Management under applications this plan grants.
- Open the gear to set Adults/Children limits if your events use those quotas (blank = unlimited).
- On an event, add ticket types with a public price and, when needed, a member price or member-only flag.
- Member recognition follows the plan’s Teams bridge to member types. Different plans can bridge to different member types, so each plan can unlock different ticket rates or member-only options.
At registration, the system checks whether the purchaser has an Active entitled membership for this account. If they do and their plan maps to the ticket’s member type, they see member pricing (or may select member-only tickets). Guests and non-members pay the public rate and cannot take member-only tickets.
What members experience
- Public events list still shows for everyone.
- On the event detail / registration form, entitled members see member rates where you configured them.
- Suspended, expired, or wrong-plan members are treated like non-members for pricing.
