The challenge

Public companies and IR teams juggle a fragmented disclosure stack — one vendor to write and wire a release, another to file with the SEC, a third to host an investor-relations page, and spreadsheets to prove any of it worked. The mandate was to collapse that into a single platform that authors, distributes, discloses, hosts, and measures — without dropping the reliability a regulated financial workflow demands.

What we built

We build and ship across a fleet of microservices that cover the entire disclosure lifecycle:

• Distribution. A release is authored once and fanned across 50+ geographic circuits and tier-1 outlets — AP, Reuters, MarketWatch, Yahoo Finance, Morningstar, Benzinga — plus Apple News, FTP/SFTP delivery, and StockTwits/X amplification. Scheduled jobs then scrape third-party coverage to report exactly where it was picked up.
• Regulatory disclosure. Direct filing to US SEC/EDGAR and Canadian SEDAR with document-type selection, scheduling and attachments, plus a dedicated LegalWire workflow for legal disclosures.
• Hosted IR newsrooms. Client-managed, branded newsroom websites on custom domains — press-release archives, a brand-asset manager, embeddable stock/news/filings widgets, and double-opt-in email-alert subscriptions.
• Shareholder & governance tooling. Events, webcasts and AGM management, a whistleblower hotline, and social monitoring across Twitter, Reddit, Bluesky and YouTube.
• Market data & charting. Interactive Highcharts HighStock charts and QuoteMedia-driven quotes, fundamentals and filings, feeding embeddable widgets and email stock alerts that pass through an IR approval queue.
• Commerce & platform. Orders, subscriptions and metered credits, card billing through Authorize.Net with multi-currency (USD/CAD), and NetSuite ERP sync for invoicing and revenue recognition.

Under the hood

A fleet of 10+ ASP.NET Core microservices with RabbitMQ eventing, Hangfire scheduled jobs and full OpenTelemetry observability, that automatically publishes to Kubernetes (Istio service mesh, Helm) — so the platform can scale out on demand to absorb high-volume traffic. We've maintained this application for close to 20 years, upgrading it from a classic Web Forms application to a modern .NET Core platform and continuing to maintain it ever since — because we always support the applications we build.

Outcome

One integrated stack now spans the entire disclosure lifecycle — from press release to hosted newsroom to market data to billing and revenue recognition — built and operated end to end by the same team.
